FIELD INSPECTOR ASSESSMENT
While completing an inspection the Inspector is expected to be alert to any Hazards which may be present.
To the Insurance Company, a "Hazard" is something which does not need to be taken into consideration BEFORE a policy is accepted, renewed or denied.
An "Exposure" will not be ON THE SUBJECT PROPERTY, but will be adjacent or near the insured property.
Inspectors should answer report questions based on their OBSERVATIONS at the time of their inspection AND issues the insured tells the inspector they plan on repairing.
